March News Round Up

Each month we send out a news roundup from weird. In this months update:
  • Places still available for weird Investigations
  • Malcolm Robinson appears for weird Talking
  • Weird 10 Conference Updates (Tickets & Host)
  • Podcast News

Weird Investigations

Weird investigations still has places available for the investigation at Littledean Jail. The jail is a fantastic location to join a paranormal investigation and we are back this weekend to further investigate some claims of paranormal activity. Why not join us at this amazing location or take a look at our investigations for April and May.

Weird Talking

This month we welcome Malcolm Robinson to Swindon. Malcolm will be doing an unusual talk on the Loch Ness Monster. Malcolm is a very well known researcher and investigator and we are looking forward to hearing what he has to say about this legendary monster of the Loch. The lecture is at our usual location on the 27th of March.

Weird 10 Conference

Talking of Malcolm, we are very pleased to announce that he will be joining us over the conference weekend as the host of the conference. Malcolm wowed the 2009 conference and we know he will be a brilliant host in 2010. We are also expecting a few special guests this year, one of which will be Philip Mantle of UFO Data fame. Philip can be seen on stage and will also be in the theatre if you can spot him!

The ticket desk is now open. We have kept the ticket prices as low as possible for the conference and I'm pleased that we can offer a full weekend for just £35. Daily passes are available also and are priced at £20 each. Note that the £35 weekend pass is an on-line special offer and tickets will be £20 per day during the weekend.

Weird will be launching more books this year, including titles by Andy Roberts and Brian Allan. More details of these books are on the website. More titles may be added and we look forward to supporting these launches.

The word is out that we are planning a BBQ on the Saturday night. More news on this once we have confirmed everything.

Podcast News

The latest issue of CAT, our podcast show, is due out this weekend. We apologise for the delay in getting these shows out.  The next show will feature Trystan Swale as our guest.
